How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary tasks?
I think that my main product is quite separate from my ancillary tasks in terms of them being related to each other, obviously, my website and CD pack both feature elements from the video, on the CD pack there is the name of the song and on my website there are photos that I took during filming that I used as well as the video itself being featured on the 'media' page.
I think that my CD and website themselves are heavily related, my website has a link to buy the CD and I used a lot of the covers and background designs that I made for my CD as backgrounds on the site. My site also has a 'media player' where someone visiting the site could listen to the album or some of the songs on it.
Moreover, my product and ancillaries do work together well for promotion, this is especially through my website as both the video and the album are available there to view and links to buy the album (if I added songs, which I didn't because I don't own the song I used). they also all share a theme of older technology, with the VCR effect in my video and the icons of old cassette tapes and hard save discs on my website and CD cover.
Further reasons that my video and ancillaries link is through the genre of my video, the genre of the music is Electronic Indie, and my website and CD pack both have elements from electronic devices as well as a lightning bolt icon that is featured throughout.
